What Do We Do in Our Spray Shop?
Whenever we are asked to refinish woodwork, we bring it to our spray shop (unless it is not possible to remove it from the house), and we work our magic!
Stripping: We have two methods of stripping off previous finishes. Manual stripping involves using sandpaper and similar abrasive tools to remove old stain, varnish, polyurethane, shellac, or even paint. Chemical stripping accomplishes the same end by using a solvent that will break down those previous coatings.
Staining: With state-of-the art equipment and old-fashioned skill, we apply beautiful colors that make the wood look rich and vibrant.
Protective Coating: From catalyzed lacquer to eco-friendly polyurethane, and everything in-between, we have a wide variety of clear coating techniques and products to choose from. We can help you get the perfect finish that will look just how you hoped, and provide lasting protection for your woodwork.

What’s in Our Wood Spray Booth?
An exhaust system pulls out overspray (keeping the finish smooth and even) and filters out particulates (so there’s no dust landing in the drying coatings).
Drying racks provide a space-effective system for allowing items to dry evenly and thoroughly.
Then of course, there is our supply area, with the stains and coatings we use regularly, our spray equipment, and our hand tools for manual work.
