2014 Exterior Painting Season is Coming!

It might be officially spring now, but the best time to paint exteriors in Oregon hasn't arrived just yet. Over several decades of painting in the Portland Area, we here at Sundeleaf Painting advise that the best time to paint exteriors is in late spring. Here's why.
The thing about painting in Oregon is that you're often fighting precipitation. Rain, and any type of moisture, is bad for paint adhesion. So, we recommend tackling exterior painting projects from late spring, through the summer, and up until early fall. And, as we've noted elsewhere on our blog, the best conditions for exterior painting are between 50 and 80 degrees air and surface temperature. Those days are fast approaching.
So, if you'd like to get an early jump on your exterior makeover, ring us up and schedule the work now. Our schedule will fill up fast, but we're happy to find a time that works for you.
